Salvador Andrade

Arizona

Salvador Andrade has been working in the clean energy industry since 2018, dedicating himself to helping families and businesses across Arizona make the switch to solar. As a representative of Solar Gain Inc., he specializes in residential and commercial solar installations, bringing both environmental and economic benefits to his community.

Before entering the solar field, Salvador worked as a coach and physical education teacher. His transition to clean energy was fueled by a desire to create a broader impact. One of Salvador’s most memorable projects also happens to be one of the most personal. “My grandparents decided to add solar back in 2017. My first solar project,” he shares. “I’ll never forget how happy they were to support such a great cause. The system is still running strong to this day.”

Salvador believes that the clean energy movement is accessible to everyone and that even small actions matter. “Anyone can be part of the solution—even a single home with solar makes a difference,” he says. “Electrifying your home takes strain away from the grid. Erasing your carbon footprint and also benefiting from the incentives creates a win/win scenario for everyone.”

For Salvador, clean energy is not just about powering homes—it’s about powering change. “Clean energy is important to me because it reduces our reliance on foreign oil and unstable energy markets.”

He’s also passionate about the role of policy and investment. “Clean energy is one of the fastest-growing sectors—investing in it means creating millions of good-paying jobs,” he explains. “These jobs can’t be outsourced and exist in every part of the country—from manufacturing to installation to research. I’ve been fully invested in clean energy for almost 10 years and depend on clean energy to feed my family.”

From his first installation with his grandparents to transforming neighborhoods across Arizona, Salvador Andrade continues to build a cleaner, more sustainable future. “Solar is making a difference in our communities one rooftop at a time,” he says. “I’m thankful to be a part of this beautiful industry.”
