Georgia Recycler Leads the EV Charge

Ascend Elements, a recycling company near Atlanta, will become the first U.S. supplier of lithium carbonate for EV batteries without mining. Their innovative process boosts clean energy goals and creates local supply chains—a big win for Georgia’s growing EV economy.

EVs Hit Nearly 9% of US Car Sales

Electric vehicles surged to 8.9% of U.S. light-duty car sales in Q3 2024, while hybrids, plug-ins, and EVs combined reached 21.2%. The market continues to grow, with more affordable models gaining traction beyond luxury buyers.
