Brooklyn Solar Project Cuts Bills
Sunset Park, Brooklyn, is home to a $2.7 million community solar project led by UPROSE. This initiative will cut energy bills for 150 households while creating a community wealth fund and clean energy jobs. Built on the Brooklyn Army Terminal rooftop, it’s a grassroots model for climate justice and local clean energy innovation.
