New York’s $2.5M Boost for Clean Energy Jobs
New York is investing $2.5 million in three clean energy workforce training projects to prepare more than 1,000 apprentices and journey workers for high-paying careers. Plumbers, sheet metal workers, and insulators will receive specialized training, with at least 50% of participants coming from disadvantaged communities. This initiative ensures a strong, skilled workforce to power the state’s clean energy future.
