Pioneering the Future of Geothermal Energy: Camden Lang’s Journey

Camden Lang, a drilling and completions operations engineer based in Nevada, is making history in the clean energy sector. With a background in oil and gas and water systems engineering, Lang transitioned into clean energy to align her technical expertise with her personal mission—prioritizing sustainability through responsible operations.

“For me, my job is a great turning point where my personal mission and values have now intertwined with my technical passions and aspirations,” Lang says. “It symbolizes a fresh chapter with an opportunity to directly serve my local community as well as the broader population that I am excited to continue.”

Lang’s proudest achievement in clean energy is her contribution to the first-ever horizontal geothermal wells. Applying her education and passion for energy and wells, she played a crucial role in their development, marking a milestone for geothermal innovation.
